ET22 – a legend of Polish tracks!

 
Every train lover knows the iconic ET22 locomotive! This mighty "Bull" has been traversing
Polish tracks for years, pulling heavy trains and inspiring respect with its characteristic
appearance.
It's a true rail icon that cannot be missing in your collection!
The ET22 locomotive was designed in the 1960s to meet the growing demands of freight
transport and the dynamic electrification of Polish tracks. Production began in 1969 at the
Pafawag in Wrocław, and by 1989, 1183 units had been built for PKP and 23 for the
Moroccan carrier ONCF.

Over the decades, the ET22 has become a pillar of rail freight transport in Poland, also
serving to service passenger trains. Many units are still in operation today.
